About Our Choir
Hello, my name is Andy Isbell, I am the choir director here at GracePointe Milwaukie. Do you enjoy singing? Have you been in a choir before? Would you like to come get involved with us and help us lead worship as a choir?
Our choir is composed of adults of all ages singing Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass parts. If you are unsure of your voice part or it has been a while, I can help you figure it out when we meet. I ask that choir members are at least high school age. On Thursday evenings we work on several choir anthems and hymns for upcoming Sundays. We also have a time during rehearsal to check in with each other in the form of prayer and prayer requests.

Time Commitment
Sunday Mornings (Two per month on average)
The Grace Pointe choir typically sings two times a month during our first and second Sunday services. We warm up in the choir room on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.
Thursday Rehearsal
Our choir rehearses on Thursday evenings (7:00 pm – 8:30 pm) at Grace Pointe in the choir room. We do not have rehearsal on fifth Thursdays in the months that have five thursdays.

About The Director
My name is Andy Isbell. I have been at Grace Pointe since 2019 and have been the choir director since 2022. I have been singing and been around choirs since I was very young and have been passionate about music ever since. I am currently a middle school choir director at Lakeridge Middle School. I am very passionate about music and getting others excited about Jesus and our faith as Christians. Being able to be the choir director at Grace Pointe has been a huge blessing for me as I am able to teach and lead with music as we serve the one who created music through song and community.
