COMMUNITY IMPACT
Our vision is to eradicate hopelessness with the relentless love of Jesus. This calling starts by being actively involved in our community. Here are just a few of the ways are serving our community.

COMMUNITY IMPACT ROOM
The Community Impact Room at GracePointe provides assistance with food for those in need. It’s open the third Thursday of each month from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and is open to everyone in our community. For more information on serving in this ministry or if you have questions on getting assistance, please call the church office at (503) 654-9593.

TRUNK OR TREAT
Every October we offer a safe, fun filled evening for our community! Here you will find food, carnival games, inflatables and of course lots of candy! Dress up and go “trick or treating” from trunk to trunk and receive tons of safe candy while enjoying the decorations. The best part is this event is 100% FREE and ALL are welcome!

ROWE MIDDLE SCHOOL
GracePointe has adopted Rowe as OUR school. We provide school supplies for students who cannot afford them, appreciation lunches for teachers and administration two times per year, help with renovation projects, student housing needs, and other needs when they arise.
EVERY CHILD OREGON
We stand in the gap for vulnerable children and families in
partnership with the Department of Human Services through providing welcome boxes for kids placed in foster care, supporting the staff at our local DHS centers, and various other methods of support.
LOVE ONE LAUNDRY
We have partnered with LoveOne Laundry Milwaukie – a neighboring movement that partners with groups and local laundromats to wash the clothes and bedding of low-income and/or no-income families and individuals. This event happens the second Monday of each month at Milwaukie Laundry, and is staffed by GracePointe volunteers. We are always accepting donations of non-perishable grab and go foods, personal hygiene products, food for small dogs, and quarters for the machines.
FIRST IMAGE
First Image believes that every person conceived is made in the Image of God. Help us uphold the personhood of our neighbors by supporting our family of ministries that includes three local pregnancy centers, a post-abortion healing ministry and a sexual integrity program for youth. You can help mothers and fathers facing unsupported pregnancy, the children they carry, and many more by making new baby baskets, volunteering in a center, helping at events, and much more!

THANKSGIVING FOOD BOXES
Every year, we give out food boxes to families in need in our community.

FROM THE GP MISSIONS BOARD
May 24, 2023
Hello Everyone,
The Missions Board at GracePointe is involved in helping several organizations and people around the world. Each missionary holds a vision as to how they are to reach a community of people with their God given talents. While some focus on education others use the outdoors to preach the gospel. Everyone with their unique gifts is used for the glory of God to spread the good news. Now, being a missionary is no easy task. They constantly face many challenges whether that be spiritual, physical or emotional. Therefore, it is important that we keep them in our prayers and provide a listening ear when the opportunity to talk to them is presented. Such as when they are able to visit our church and share some time with us.
Occasionally we are blessed with the opportunity to host a missionary family or individual in our church. Though it is a blessing for us to get to talk to them and see them, we believe it would also be nice to bless them with whatever God puts in our hearts. Sometimes when they come to visit us, they don’t have a place to sleep, means of transportation, or have never been to Oregon. Making a trip can be stressful and arriving at a place where they are unsure of how it is going to be when they get to their destination can add more things to worry about. Hence, we were wondering if you would be interested in helping us make this trip both memorable and easier for them.
You may be wondering how you can help, and there are few ways to do so. As mentioned, above some families who come don’t have means of transportation, a place to stay, or may not even know the area. Thus, if you have an extra space available in your home, a car that can be borrowed, or would like to help with a meal or take them out, please let us know. Our group will compile a general list, and if we believe you would be a great fit for a family, we will be contacting you. If you are interested in helping, please email the following information to Steve Campbell at scampbell@gpointe.com: your name, phone number and how you can help in response to this letter.
As always prayer is a powerful tool and just as impactful. For that reason, we appreciate you and thank you for your time. God bless!
Sincerely,
Missions Board of GracePointe Church
